Fragrant Hills Park, Located at No. 40 Buyi Street, Haidian District, Beijing, in the northwest suburbs of the city, covering an area of 188 hectares, it is a royal garden with mountain and forest characteristics. As early as the Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties, the royal family built a separate palace and courtyard in Xiangshan. During the summer and autumn seasons, the emperor would come here to hunt and cool off. In the tenth year of Xianfeng (1860) and the twenty sixth year of Guangxu (1900), it was burned down twice by the Anglo French Allied Forces and the Eight Nation Allied Forces. In 1956, it was opened as the People's Park.

Xiangshan Park is located in the heart of the eastern slope of Xishan Mountain, and is also the hub of the eastern end of Xishan Mountain. The peaks and valleys are layered and intertwined. There are famous tourist attractions such as Xiangshan Temple, Hongguang Temple, and Shuangqing Villa. The main peak of Xianglu Peak in the scenic area is commonly known as "Guijian Chou", with an altitude of 575 meters. There are numerous trees in the park, with a forest coverage rate of up to 96%, and it has a unique and rich garden connotation of "mountains, famous springs, ancient trees, and red leaves".
